ProFinance is unique in offering unrivalled coverage of financial products for both consumer and commercial finance markets all together in one single system.  Product areas supported include:

  • consumer credit: revolving credit, charge cards, payment facilities, personal loans;

ProFinance is also unique as the only fully installed application of its type developed in n-tier J2EE technology.  ProFinance is composed of independent business modules organised around a unique open database for front, middle and back office management of financial operations of various types. 

The overall design is based on achieving a stable, robust and evolving architecture. It is therefore possible, at the lowest cost, to develop and gradually integrate new functionality to meet new operational needs. ProFinance is available on two principal market standard relational database servers: Oracle and Sybase. The primary target markets of ProFinance are the retail financial services industry (consumer loans, leasing, revolving facilities) and complementary B2B market places such as wholesale finance (factoring and floor planning).

General characteristics include:

  • Capability to manage the full range of organisational, business partner and channel structures: finance companies,  end-customers, commercial partners, distributors  (OEMs and dealers), service providers, etc.
  • Management of links or business relationships between business partners enables the management of the risk for groups of customers or holding companies for individual subsidiaries and consolidated at the group level
  • Comprehensive management of accounts (online and via reports) by defining business rules and workflow configuration
  • The parameterised nature of the design enables marketing staff to easily define the product offering, creating  a catalogue of available financial products and associated services, the characteristics of which can be adjusted individually and tailored according to customer requirements
  • Configuration of the financial plans and products allows users to parameterise online the funding conditions (rate, duration, monthly payment, deposit...) of a specific loan or lease chosen by the customer from a list of available financial plans
  • Configuration of the services (insurances, maintenance etc.) enables the finance company to customise (calculation rules, periodicity, mandatory or optional attribute...) the various complementary services or value added products offered along with the finance 
  • As an option, ProFinance supports new loans via an online and web-based origination module: FAMOS. This module can be accessed remotely by business partner users for both retail and wholesale activity
  • Through a specific interface, ProFinance also allows the import of new files from any external application or front office. Fimasys has developed a complete set of XML-based API in order to facilitate the communications with internal as well as with external users
